Some sessions just hit different—and this one? It’s one of those.

I’ve had the absolute joy of photographing the Smiths from the very beginning—their engagement, their wedding day in Florida, and now this season as they get ready to become parents. Watching a love story unfold like this is something I will never take for granted.

We met up at Clearwater Beach right as golden hour started doing its thing, and wow… it showed off. The light was soft and glowy, the breeze was just enough, and the whole evening felt calm in that “let’s just soak this in” kind of way.

And honestly, that’s exactly what they did.

No rush, no pressure—just the two of them, standing on the shoreline, holding onto each other and this moment before everything changes in the best way. There’s something really special about that in-between season… when you know your whole world is about to shift, but you get this quiet pause first.

The way they looked at each other, the way they laughed, the way they just were together—it’s the kind of love that’s easy to photograph because it’s already so full.
