Oakwood Country Club in Kansas City is truly one of those venues that instantly leaves an impression. Between the classic architecture, the sweeping fairways, and the timeless elegance woven into every corner of the property, the entire space feels effortlessly refined and incredibly romantic. It was the perfect setting for a day that felt equal parts editorial, timeless, and full of inspiration.

This beautiful styled shoot, hosted through Miriam Steffan’s Workshop, was flawlessly planned by Veiled Events, and every single detail came together so intentionally. From the soft, romantic tablescapes to the elevated bridal details, the entire day felt classic in the very best way.

And the florals from Good Earth Floral Design Studio were absolutely exquisite. They simply never, ever disappoint. Every arrangement added so much texture, romance, and beauty to the space and completely elevated the entire design.

The bride spent the morning getting ready in Oakwood’s stunning bridal suite, where soft natural light poured through the windows and made every detail — her gown, pearls, florals, and quiet moments before the ceremony — feel like something straight out of a bridal editorial.

It was one of those days that reminds me exactly why I love photographing weddings so much. Beautiful people, timeless design, meaningful moments, and a venue that truly takes your breath away. I absolutely loved every second of it and already cannot wait to be back at Oakwood again soon.
