The Urbans are country at heart — and their golden hour session on a sprawling equestrian ranch couldn’t have been a more perfect reflection of who they are. Horses grazing in the distance, hunting dogs close by, and the warm glow of sunset painting everything in heirloom light.

This was more than just a photo session; it was a glimpse into their lifestyle, their love, and the timeless legacy they’re building together. Country roots, luxury details, and a golden sky — a story only the Urbans could tell.

However, I can tell you that getting trained hunting dogs all in focus made me feel pretty legit. Whew. The birds flew all at the right time and their point was on point. Ha. Her lovely horse… well… she was a horse of course and we followed where she wandered.

This session is an all time favorite. Julia’s timeless beauty with her long golden glowing hair and her classic “woman in the country” vibe takes me to the museum. I see her as a classic painted portrait from the 1700s of a timeless woman. Logan he could be on a boat off the coast of Ireland, right? Movies and heirloom images. They play in my mind as I capture the subjects in my lens.
