There is something so wonderful about combing art, architecture, and authentic family moments - and this session at the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art was exactly that. The museums’ sweeping lawns, iconic sculptures, and timeless stone and glass backdrops set eh stage for so many of my lifestyle sessions that are full of love, laughter and personality.

This sweet family of three and their dog that I needed a saddle for, brought so much joy to this session. Their darling little buddy fell sounds a sleep and the images of him nestled under the shuttlecock are truly too much.

We strolled the museum’s stunning grounds, capturing both the candid moments and the softly posed portraits. I was honored they had me capture their crew and I truly hope to see them again soon. Sitting and walking are two of the sessions that I love the most with the littles.
